HUMMUS AND BABAGHANOUJ SERVING IDEAS
These dips are a great source of vegetarian protein, rich in fiber and they also are a rich source of minerals, especially Calcium.
*Enjoy our variety of hummus and our amazing babaghanouj as a dip for pita, crackers and for dipping vegetables.
* As a salad dressing , hummus or babaghabouj combined with a spoonful of your favourite SK pesto, will dress your fresh vegetables like never before.
* The Mega Veggie Sandwich. Our dips and Pestos can be used as healthy and flavorful alternatives to mayonnaise and butter.
Choose two slices of whole grain bread. Spread the Hummus of your choice on one slice, Babaghanouj with some Sundried Tomato and olive spread on the other slice. Add one lettuce leaf, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, a slice of grilled tofu or goat cheese and sprouts. You can try this in a wrap or in pita.
Eat it and love it.
* How to dish out hummus with style:
Choose a medium size flat plate. Spoon out a whole container of Sunflower Kitchen Hummus. With one hand hold the plate and with the other spread the hummus with a spoon, leaving a thicker rim around. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle paprika, chopped parsley and to add a nice touch, put in the center cooked chick peas and pine nuts.
Enjoy this delectable dish with pita, and you will always be grateful for this experience!

SOUPS AS MEALS
Our soups are a meal on their own. We only use filtered water, fresh vegetables, herbs and a variety of legumes and grains that combined, will bring into your body richness in nutrients and taste. They are low in fat and rich in fiber.
We love them just like that or with some whole grain bread with hummus and pesto on the side!
They are a great solution for an easy and great dinner or lunch, as well as, the opening of a gourmet, international and wholesome meal.
Some great serving ideas are:
*Tuscan and Lima bean – can complement an Italian meal.
*For more Oriental theme, chose our Asian wild rice and mushroom or
Thai hot and sour.
*If you want to feel in the Middle east try our Egyptian Lentil or Harira.
*For a Mexican touch, enjoy our Chili.
*For a home warming style: Potato and Leek, Carrot and Ginger, Split pea and Vegetables and Yellow Split pea and Squash.
*To cool your palate, enjoy our Amazing seasonal Gazpacho.
OPEN YOUR MEAL:
Harira can complement a plate of couscous. To embellish the flavour spoon on top our Kale and Oregano pesto.
For the Tuscan and lima bean, spoon on top our basil pesto.
To spice it out, try the Carrot and Ginger with a teaspoon of our
Zesto- coriander pesto!
To add some essential fatty acids, minerals and crunchiness, sprinkle some fresh or toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds into your bowl.

OUR PESTOS
There are so many ways to enjoy these wonderful Pestos.
The Pestos are an easy and delicious way to get the benefits of raw green foods into your and your children’s bodies and to dress up your dishes.
Do you eat kale or know what Kale is?
It is the queen of greens in nutritional value, try it in our pesto and your kids will love it too without knowing they are eating leafy greens!
Our Pestos give great flavour as a pizza base, on pasta, bruschetta, as a sandwich spread, on feta or goat cheese, beans or grains, on roasted potatoes and steamed veggies.
In order to maintain nutrition, Pestos are best to add just before serving.
THE RECIPES IDEAS
GREEN AND RED COUSCOUS
Cook your couscous and when it is done mix in 2 teaspons of Basil pesto for green or of Sundried Tomato and olive spread for red. Fluff it with a fork and you will have the most interesting and delicious couscous ever!
GRILLED CHICKEN, FISH OR TOFU.
Bake or grill your protein of choice, brush any of our Pestos and serve it right away with a green salad on the side.
RICE AND BEANS WITH A TWIST
Cook one cup of basmati or brown rice. Sauté some onions and any chopped vegetables of your choice; mix in one tablespoon of your favorite SK Pesto and add one cup of cooked beans. Add to the cooked rice and you will have a wholesome, vegetarian and easy yummy dish!
QUESADILLAS
Choose a soft whole wheat tortilla, brush it with Zestoh-Pesto and add two tomato slices and grated cheese to half of the tortilla; fold it, grill or bake it, flip it after 3 min. and when cheese melts, cut it in four and enjoy this delicious lunch or snack.
